Kill long running Mysql process

Login to Mysql console, type

$ mysql -uuser -ppassword;
$ show processlist;

it will produce following output:

mysql> show processlist;
| Id | User | Host | db | Command | Time | State | Info |
| 205 | root | localhost:61465 | NULL | Query | 0 | init | query |
1 row in set (0.00 sec)

$ kill processID (here 205)
