  1. Hi Samrat

    Not Found

The requested URL /wp-content/plugins/wp-file-uploder/process-form.php was not found on this server.

    Thanks

  2. hey samrat, just wondering how i get around the problem of not being able to reply to comments on my blog since i installed your anti-spam plugin? its not recognising me as a first time user and i cannot remove my website as im in admin…

  3. Hi,

Awesome uploading plugin! Just wanted to know where the attachment gets sent to?

I installed it uploaded an image, & it says “Image has been sent to admin” but I dont get anything in my email?

    Thanks,

    1. hey, thanks. just install the plugins activate it , and put this shortcode [file-upload] to any page or post , that’s it you will see a form to upload file there. if you have more query please go no…

  4. Uploaded and activated the plugin. Just can’t seem to make it work. I followed all your instructions, but for whatever reason it’s not showing up on the page. Am I missing something?

      1. hi, i think batter u can try with direct shortcode [file-upload], captcha image should show up as its working properly for all wordpress version. thanks

      2. It is uploading the file and sending email to the wp admin but captcha is not displaying.

  5. I changed the directory permission to read, write, execute for plugins/wp-file-uploader/tmp and plugins/wp-file-uploader (chmod 0777) and now it works. Thanks a lot!

  6. Hi Samrat,

I couldn’t find a contact email address for you, but I wanted to bring up an issue with the upload feature.

I’ve tested the plugin in my test environment and in a live environment and it appears to allow uploads of all file types. In both cases I was able to upload php files, which can be extremely dangerous considering the number of php shells (c99.php, etc.) out there.

Restricting .php file uploads (to include files with ‘.php’ in the file name, as some servers will still serve a file like filename.php.jpg as a php file) would be a nice move for security concerns.

    Thanks!

    Chris

    1. hello chris,

thanks for your suggestion, i shell definitely check this issue with upload all type of file format and also shell fix it in my next update insha’Allah. Please take a look at my about page for my email address.

  7. Hi Samrat,
I was wondering if we can add another field(preferably a name field) so that we get to know the name and email id of the person who is uploading the file. is that possible? can you possibly help me with that?

    1. hello Aneesh,

thanks to use my plugins, yes its possible so how do you want me to do that. update the code in your server? i did not had other request for name field to add it in the plugins file wordpress repository.
